Ubatec S.A., founded in 1991, is an organization formed by the University of Buenos Aires, the City Government, the Argentine Industrial Union and the General Confederation of Industry. It acts as a go between the scientific community and the private sector. It promotes and fosters the technology transfer.
Ubatec, one of the first units of technological linkage of Argentine, is devoted to the rendering of innovation management services , technology transfer, technical assistance, third- party fund administration, promotion of technological ventures and administration of projects and programs oriented to productive development.
It has a Business Advisory Board composed of more than thirty national technology- based companies that contribute their vision on the demands required by the productive sector, so Ubatec articulates links with the academic scientific system in order to provide solutions.
